Rolling Stones Surprise Show

The Rolling Stones got their Zip Code Tour off to an unofficial start last night in Los Angeles.

The Rolling Stones ALWAYS do this when they start off a tour, it’s become a tradition.  The Stones announced the gig at the Fonda Theatre in Hollywood yesterday morning, with tickets selling out immediately. The celebrity guest list included Jack Nicholson, Bruce Willis, Monty Python’s Eric Idle, Joe Pesci, Andy Garcia, Steven Van Zandt, Don Was and Mick Jagger’s daughter Georgia May.

The surprise gig featured 1971’s Sticky Fingers album in its entirety, as well as “Start Me Up,” “When the Whip Comes Down,” “Jumpin’ Jack Flash” and Otis Redding‘s “Can’t Turn You Loose.”
