In 2000, Ballet for Life a ballet in tribute to Queen’s Freddie Mercury opened to a sell-out crowd & fellow Queen members Brian May, John Deacon and Roger Taylor at the Sadler’s Wells Theatre in London.

In 1996, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers were the musical guest on the season premiere of Saturday Night Live where they performed “Walls” and “Angel Dream”.

Also in 1996, Rush debuted at number five on the Billboard 200 Album Chart with “Test for Echo”; which went on to go Gold in the U.S.

In 1991, Bryan Adams was awarded the Order of Canada and the Order of British Columbia.

In 1968, The Who peaked at number twenty-five on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart with “Magic Bus”, their third top forty single in the U.S.
