In 1981, Journey released their seventh studio album Escape. It went on to become their first and only number one album in the U.S. & sell nine million copies in the U.S.

In 1980, The Eagles performed their last concert at the Long Beach Arena. They split up later in the year & reunited in 1994.

In 1966, Cream made their live debut at the National Blues and Jazz Festival in Windsor, U.K.
