In 2002, Paul McCartney kicked off his first tour in nine years at the Oakland Arena in Oakland, CA in support of his album Driving Rain.

In 1978, Eric Clapton peaked at number three on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart with “Lay Down Sally” which was Clapton’s second top ten single as a solo artist in the U.S.

In 1976,  AC/DC played their live debut in the UK at The Red Cow in Hammersmith, London.
