In 1973, Pink Floyd kicked off their tour in support of Dark Side of the Moon.

In 1972, T. Rex peaked at number ten on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart with “Bang a Gong (Get It On)”, which was their only top ten single in the U.S.

 In 1967, “Ruby Tuesday” by The Rolling Stones reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart for one week, making it the group’s fourth number one single.
