Arcade Fire – Massive Tour in the Works + New Album Update

Arcade Fire’s Will Butler hinted last June that the band’s next album could be
released as soon as Spring 2017, and fans have been waiting for an update with fingers
crossed.  And now, an update has arrived from drummer Jeremy Gara, who confirms
that the  followup to Reflektor is still on schedule for a release date at some point
in 2017.

The band has recorded more than they need (a good problem to have!) and now its
just a matter of  mixing and deciding which songs will end up on the new album.

As far as touring goes, for the time being, Arcade Fire only have a handful of live
performances on the radar for June and July, mostly European music festivals,
but to tide fans over until the new album, Arcade Fire are putting out The Reflektor-
Tapes/Live at Earls Court. The DVD showcases a feature film and concert footage
from -their 2014 Reflektor tour and will be available on January 27th.
