For the past 80 Years the McGavin name has been linked to the business and evolution of farming and farm machinery.  Founded in 1936, the family tradition began when Gordon McGavin renovated a small shed and began selling farm machinery at the McKillop Twp farm where he grew up. Neil McGavin joined his father 1957, and became the sales manager in 1963 after Gordon decided to run for parliament as a member of the liberal party.
McGavin Farm Equipment is proud to be a platinum sponsor at this year’s International Plowing Match and Rural Expo. They are very excited to welcome you to the IPM September 19th to 23rd right in their home town of Walton, Huron County. Make sure you get a chance to see them at their booth on Machinery Row! Check out their incredible line up of new equipment.
The company is now into the third generation of McGavin, as Neil’s sons,  Brian and Jeff now operate the business with New Holland being their main brand, but also hold over 50 short line companies.  The goal is to provide customers a one stop shop for all of their agricultural needs.
